In this role, you’ll be responsible for the proper packing and shipping of home delivery prescriptions for our members to ensure contents arrive safely and on-time. This role is challenging. You’ll need to have strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Ability to work in a fast paced environment is essential as these prescriptions are critical to our members’ health and well-being . Primary Responsibilities:
- Audit packages for the HD and Specialty Line
- Assist with escalations and cancellations for the HD and Specialty line
- Inventory escalations (STOOs escalations , HVS Backorder escalations)
- Packing escalations
- Address any shipping issues
- Fulfill prescriptions by reviewing approved computer orders and monitoring shipments or completing the actual disbursement
- Maintain proper inventory and storage of prescription drugs by filling dispensing units and monitoring and adjusting pharmacy equipment
- Perform cycle counting activities and complete order processing
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Must possess a current unrestricted State of Indiana Pharmacy Tech license
- 6+ months of Customer Service Experience
- Demonstrated ability in using a computer and Windows PC applications, which includes strong keyboard and navigation skills and learning new computer programs
- MS Excel experience with the ability to navigate through the application and complete basic functions such as sort, filter, and basic formulas
- MS Outlook basic skills with sending emails
- Ability to work regularly scheduled shifts within our hours of operation 1 p.m.- 9:30pm Monday - Friday including the training period, where lunches and breaks are scheduled, with the flexibility to adjust daily schedule, and work over - time and / or weekends, as needed
- 1+ years of Pharmacy Tech experience
- Possess national pharmacy technician certification (PTCB)
