Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) businesses build enduring client relationships through sound, thoughtful and objective advice. We help our clients by developing individualized plans for everything from retirement goals to business succession planning, to family legacy intentions. Services include comprehensive planning and advice, investment management, brokerage, private banking, estate planning strategies, trust, insurance and both individual and institutional retirement.

The WFA Operations Manager 3 within Account Services will be responsible for managing a team composed of domestic and international team members, developing relationships with key business partners across the WF enterprise. The process manager role will also represent Account Services Group on department projects, reporting monthly metrics, oversight of the WFCS closing account processes, improvement initiatives and have a working knowledge of Hogan and its interdependencies with other enterprise systems.

Overall Responsibilities:

  • Manage the remittance and reconciliation of various forms of tax withholding
  • Oversight of audits of tax forms and filings with the IRS and state revenue agencies.
  • Ability to partner with multiple lines of business and technology across the WF Enterprise in order to support issues and data integrity efforts.
  • Communication with multiple lines of business and technology to resolve highly technical and complex client and system issues.
  • Ability to provide detailed analysis of Enterprise data issues to both front and back office associates/management.
  • Manage processes that support client data from an end to end perspective, develop risk based approach to minimize impact of changes to other systems and departments
Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of operations experience
  • 2+ years of leadership experience in operations
Desired Qualifications

  • 2+ years of brokerage industry experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and project managers
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Ability to identify and evaluate exposures and potential risks
  • Strong project management skills
  • 2+ years of Beta experience
  • Experience resolving and working through escalated and complex issues
  • 2+ years of leadership experience including coaching, training and mentoring
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 2+ years of Tax Reporting experience
Job Expectations

  • Registration for FINRA Series 99 must be completed within 120 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
  • Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
