If you want to work for a company that's focused on providing you the best experience with a continued focus on your growth and development – join Macy’s Finance!   *Job Overview:* An Accountant I in this area is responsible for the timely and accurate accounting and reporting of sales and gross margin for the non-retail aspects of the corporation, including Cost Departments, Workroom Departments, and Other Cost of Sales.  This position helps ensure all accounting is in strict compliance with GAAP, assists with internal and external audit questions, is responsible for the financial planning for 2-3 components of the above metrics and communicates with senior planning management both in Cincinnati and New York.  Participation in the timely and accurate forecasts is also required for consolidation into the corporate forecast.
