Keystone Place at Legacy Ridge - Senior Living Community is looking for a FULL TIME Activities Assistant to join our fantastic team.The Activities Assistant is responsible for assisting the Life Enrichment Director in planning, promoting participation, setting up for programs, implementing programs, and taking down programs for individual and group activities and socialization for residents throughout the campus. Candidates assists in ensuring that programs are designed to meet the social, spiritual, emotional, and intellectual needs of our residents. The Activities Assistant insures the programs is set up for an on time start time, encourage participation, supervises the activities to ensure residents participate safely and appropriately, and clean and prepare the area for the next program. Candidates must have a strong knowledge of working with individuals with dementia and can work with a wide variety of residents. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in leading social/recreational programs, preferably with the senior population. * One year of related experience working with the elderly preferred * Skilled at activities planning and orchestration -- setting up and breaking down/cleaning up activities * 14 passenger Bus driving experience- no CDL required * Excellent time management skills - must start and end activities on time. * Excellent communication skills, verbal and written - ability to invite and escort residents to and from activities * Genuine desire to work with the elderly and/or disabled * A heartfelt compassion for this line of work * An up-beat and engaging personality. *Health benefits after 60 days, PTO benefits after 90 days, free meals, gym membership, as well as many other benefits.
