The Activities Assistant is responsible for implementing a variety of therapeutic and diversional activities designed to achieve specific patient/department goals. The Activities Assistant shall perform all duties as assigned and collaborate with other team members to provide effective patient care. Must be able to understand the specific communication, developmental, treatment needs of patients, families and visitors ranging in age from eighteen years to late adult.
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Resident activities experience in skilled facility preferred
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES and/or REGISTRATIONS
Certification (activities professional) preferred
