Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Our nine major business lines include Business Banking, Middle Market Banking, Government and Institutional Banking, Corporate Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Financial Institutions Group, Wells Fargo Commercial Capital, Wells Fargo Securities, and the Investment Portfolio. We also have groups in credit risk, group risk, finance, marketing, human relations, and the Wholesale Chief Operating Office that support our businesses.
The Wells Fargo Investment Portfolio (“IP”) comprises the Macro Investment Portfolio (“MIP”) and public and private investments for the Credit Investment Portfolio (“CIP”), with dual reporting to the CFO (MIP) and the Head of Wholesale Banking (CIP).
The Investment Portfolio manages a portfolio of fixed income investments to achieve liquidity, interest rate risk management, and earnings objectives on behalf of Corporate ALCO. IPG invests in high quality, readily marketable securities across a spectrum of asset classes. All of IP's transactions and activities are subject to review and oversight by ALCO, the Treasurer, the CFO, and the CEO.
Performs a variety of administrative duties in support of one or more business executives, spanning multiple portfolios. Duties include: handling phone calls and correspondence directed to the business manager(s) from senior executives, external suppliers, regulators, business partners and/or selectively referring callers; establishing and implementing office procedures and controls; handling time sensitive issues; using MS Office suite to compose complex and/or confidential correspondence, presentations and meeting materials; balancing general ledger lines and/or expense accounts; researching general ledger issues; assisting with budgetary planning; may direct the work of others. Provides support and facilitates larger projects managed by others and may manage less complex projects. Acts as an information source on group and company policies.

They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following, and adhering to and if applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
- 3+ years of administrative support experience
- Ability to handle confidential material in a professional manner
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills
- Experience supporting multiple executives with calendar management, travel arrangements, scheduling of meetings and events

3+ years administrative support experience within financial services
Experience dealing with external vendors and suppliers
Ability to create complex correspondence, presentations, and meeting materials
Previous experience balancing general ledger and/or expense accounts
