JOB SUMMARY:
 
Perform Janitorial Audits and Condition Audits of all Amtrak train cars.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

·         The delivery of quality service and positive interaction with our customers is critical to the completion of all the tasks within this job description. The ability to greet all visitors, vendors, and employees; while continuously maintaining the standards of excellence in presentation and professionalism.
·         Schedule inspections using Amtrak defined parameters and criteria Implement the inspection program using hand held, “real-time” device to ensure that a clean train car interior product is delivered to Amtrak customers.
·         Perform operational compliance inspections of Amtrak's trains cleaning program against their specifications for cabin conditioning, cleaning and overall operation, including inspections of car interiors, onsite audits of related train station facilities.
·         These functions are not limited to these listed and may be expanded upon at any time, however it will be mutually agreed upon.
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
 
The following are the minimum qualifications which an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position. Please note that the minimum qualifications may vary based upon the department size and/or geographic location.
 
Knowledge:
 
·      Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience in quality assurance/auditing.
·      US Citizen or lawful permanent resident, green card is acceptable
 
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation; any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation.
