Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO) consists of enterprise functions that work together to promote and protect the Wells Fargo culture and brand, and support our team members. Groups within CAO work to protect our reputation, tell our story, bolster team member engagement, connect with our customers, and bring new and innovative solutions to life. The Commitment to Customer (C2C) Center of Excellence is an enterprise function within Wells Fargo’s Chief Administrative Office (CAO). This organization develops and implements consistent enterprise standards for remediating commitment-to-customer issues across our consumer lines of business. The organization enables more effective and coordinated monitoring, reporting and stakeholder communications. Enhancing our practices and outcomes for customers is a critical part of building a better Wells Fargo.
With the centralization of Commitment to Customer ("C2C") Remediation functions into the Center of Excellence ("COE"), we have an immediate need for a highly skilled Analytic Consultant 3 - C2C COE. This Analytic Consultant will play the critical role of leveraging deep business systems and database knowledge to perform advanced data validation of commitment to customer remediation populations of customers who were harmed.

***We are targeting a resource who understands the consumer lending business model and also has combined experience with some or all of the following: data analytics, information technology, automation testing, relational databases, SQL Server, SAS, and SQL.***

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Analysis of C2C issues to understand customer harm for consumer lending, including auto loans, credit cards, personal lines and loans, and student loans
  • Querying databases via SQL to identify populations of harmed customers
  • Utilizing business systems to research transactions on loan accounts
  • Delivering data populations and required documentation to remediation leads
  • Working with data validation teams to ensure accuracy of data populations
  • Creating business language illustrations of loans in scope for each remediation
  • Profiling data to identify outliers, quality issues, and inaccurate data

The Chief Administrative Office enables strong business performance and company operations by leading across a number of enterprise imperatives: culture, brand, and reputation.

Positions may be able to sit within other Wells Fargo Footprint locations. This is not a remote or telecommute role.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both; or a BS/BA degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 3+ years of reporting experience, analytics experience, or a combination of both
  • 4+ years of SQL experience
  • 4+ years of data analysis experience

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the Wells Fargo Commitment to Customer (C2C) policy and the process of remediating harmed customers in accordance with the C2C policy
  • 5+ years of combined experience in using some or all of the following systems: ACAPS, AFS, Brickyard, CARS, Credit Revue System, ECAR, EFS Data Warehouse, EIW, EXS, FDR, Wells Fargo Auto Data Warehouse, HELMS, HOGAN, LSS, and SHAW to query and review loan details
  • Knowledge of consumer lending policies and procedures, especially how loans are serviced, how collections are pursued for delinquent customers, how payments are posted, and how and when other charges are added to balances (i.e., late charges, non-sufficient funds charges, etc.)
  • 4+ years of experience querying databases using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, SAS Enterprise Guide, Toad for Oracle, or a similar data querying tool
