As part of our elite team, you will play a pivotal role in the system development cycle and consult with end users to evaluate business requirements into design specifications. You will work with all levels of the business, ensuring IT deliverables align with business requirements, with measurable results. As an API developer, you will be building part of the team a cloud-based embedded application that will display member risk and quality information, dashboards, and reports within an EMR. 
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
  • Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
  • Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
  • Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
  • Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
  • Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
  • Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
  • Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience with each of the following:
    • Architect, build and ship highly scalable systems, libraries, and frameworks
    • Write backend code using primarily .NET
    • Strong background in C# or another compiled language, along with expert-level design & development
    • Strong unit testing experience (Nunit, xUnit)
    • Commercial  experience with distributed, high-performance systems
    • Experience developing APIs and web microservices
  • 2+ years of experience with Java programming
  • 6+ years of real industry experience
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in healthcare projects
  • Strong communication and client facing skills
