Position Name - Application Developer II
Experience - 4 years to 7 years
Roles & Responsibilities:
Should be involved in the following steps of the SDLC cycle:
Requirement Gathering and Analysis
  • Conduct requirement analysis
  • Conducts feasibility Analysis on requirements
  • Reviews the Desk Level Procedures created by SSE /SEs
  • Prepare technical requirement documentation
  • Develops and maintains one or combination of BI Stack solutions
  • Conducts  peer review of codes completed by Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers
  • BI design practices and design methodology
  • Prepare High level design document
  • Prepare architecture design documentation
  • Reviews Unit test cases
  • .
  • Ensures Unit Testing of all modules
  • Functions as the 2nd level of assistance for the QA team
Deployment/ Release
  • Conducts deployment of releases
  • Ensures proper versioning mechanism of the release
  • Ensures adherence to Change Management procedures
  • Reviews project documentation and run book
  • Creates methodology document
  • Creates review document post UAT
  • Project Tracking documents
  • Monthly MIS reports
Project Management
  • Creates work breakdown structure for the team
  • Provides effort  estimate of tasks / modules delivery
  • Identifies key resources for the project
  • Conducts daily meetings and assigns tasks to team members
  • Conduct monthly meetings covering major activities performed over the month

Required Qualifications - BCA\B.E\B.Tech\M.Tech\MCA\MBA
Technical Skills -
  • Expert knowledge in MS-SQL 2008 and above
  • Experience in developing business intelligence solutions focused on the areas one or combined BI Technologies
  • Previous experience managing a technical team, preferably in business intelligence
  • Proven experience in any one or combination of below technologies
    • Microsoft SQL Server
    • Microsoft Multidimensional Expressions syntax (MDX)
    • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
    • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSRS)
  • Data Model Tools
  • Hand on experience in predictive data models Working Knowledge of MS-Visio , MS-Project
  • Knowledge of Database design models
  • Working knowledge of source control / versioning tools
  • Intermediate working knowledge of dashboard tools  like PPS,Tableau or Sharepoint Reporting is and added advantage Knowledge of Data Administration activities like replication , log shipping , mirroring, clustering is preferable
Knowledge of other technologies like Big data , cloud computing is an added advantage
