Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. seeks an Applications Systems Engineer 5 in Charlotte, NC to support applications for the Global Branch Foundation, Wells Fargo’s Wholesale international bank platform. Responsibilities include: Design, develop, and implement banking applications involving Oracle FLEXCUBE; act independently to determine methods and procedures for supporting applications; analyze and investigate issues raised for upcoming quarterly release, and provide clarification to end user community; coordinate production releases with development teams, Quality Assurance, release manager, and technology managers; provide technical and functional assistance on Oracle FLEXCUBE product usage for implementation and architect groups; provide maintenance of the application and provide end to end integration testing with channels and partners; and coordinate deployments, game plan preparations and production and provide extended support for new releases.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related, and at least five years of progressively responsible experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE application - 7.0 version or higher. Experience must include 5 years of configuring, administrating, and supporting FLEXCUBE; supporting migration of the platform onto EXADATA appliance; and enabling Build and Release Tool self service capabilities. 5 years of experience with Oracle database 12c, including building and troubleshooting issues with Oracle FLEXCUBE application, performance tuning activities, service oriented architecture and FLEXCUBE gateway.
