Every person needs the support of others, but we look for very special people to support children in foster care with emotional, behavioral or medical complexities. As Area Director, Foster Care Services with Ohio MENTOR you’ll be one of those special people.

 

In this role you will be responsible for supervising foster care programs in various locations within the state of Ohio. This includes providing direction, leadership, and supervision of staff members at program sites to carry out operations and ensure quality services to children in foster care and their families. In addition, you will ensure compliance with applicable state and federal standards.

 



Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required

  • Master’s degree in human services strongly preferred

  • LSW required

  • Three to six years management experience in foster or residential care

  • Must be able to travel within the state of OH and occasionally out of state
