Position Summary

Assist the Own Brands (OB) Product Manager in driving competitive advantage and value creation in OB for a set of categories. Support OB go to market efforts including, but not limited to, opportunity identification, sourcing, packaging transitions, supplier conversions, pricing, promotion, space allocation, and marketing.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support OB Product Managers on managing core OB functions.
  • Provide support in process of identifying opportunities and influencing merchandising including category and market analysis, benchmarking.
  • Prepare OB workshops and insights sessions.
  • Use internal and external data sources to develop reports and ad hoc analyses to monitor progress against goals, provide insights to own brands and category management teams and uncover new opportunities.
  • Complete external and internal assessments of the business environment, competitors, customers, market trends, and implications to the particular area of responsibility.
  • Provide day to day vendor management, including resolving supply and quality issues.
  • Support critical document execution including new items forms, new vendor forms, initiation forms and cost change forms.

Education and Training Required

  • Bachelors Degree

Experience Required

  • 5 to 10 years
