We are looking for an Associate Director, Operations to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN!


Within Population Health Solutions and Prevention, our Eden Prairie team of Nurses, Wellness Coaches, Engagement Specialists, Care Advocates, MD’s and Pharmacists work with members of large, nationally recognized employers to drive better health outcomes and lower overall medical expense. We have a keen focus, working closely with those members to close gaps in care and help them live healthier lives.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Associate Director of Operations for a subset of the sites most complex, strategic and profitable clients, managing the ongoing clinical delivery of programs and services to assigned clients

  • Provide leadership to and be accountable for the performance and results through multiple layers of management and professional staff

  • Develop, translate and execute strategies or functional / operational objectives for a major portion of a business segment functional area

  • Drive programs that impact markets of customers and consumers

  • Manage multiple operational teams for the delivery of the programs including Case Management, Disease Management, Behavioral, Wellness Coaching and Engagement Services. Work with matrixed partners representing Cancer Services, Advocacy and Maternity Support and various other teams

  • Contribute to growth and profitability by ensuring programs provide exceptional clinical value and medical cost management

  • Own all ongoing operational metrics, clinical outcomes, accreditation compliance and financial commitments

  • Consult with senior leadership and healthcare consultants to identify innovative strategies and tactics for operational excellence

  • Develop action plans, monitor progress against plans, identify and prevent service quality issues

  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to client-specific requirements

  • Lead and develop people, bringing in the right talent, fostering teamwork, inter-departmental collaboration, and employee engagement

  • Lead effective business meetings with site leadership, staff and internal / external partners

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of management experience within a healthcare organization

  • 3 years outside hospital leadership (i.e. managed care, community based organization)

  • 2+ years’ experience working within a metrics-focused environment, including working with financial performance guarantees

  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and innovation

  • Skilled in successful execution of operational deliverables, developing action plans to accomplish goals and providing ongoing updates on progress

  • Excellent communication, presentation and client facing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to solve operational problems that directly impact client satisfaction and / or clinical outcomes

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 year degree or higher

  • Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Minnesota

  • Call center experience

  • Experience managing clinical staff

  • Experience with the delivery of customized programs

  • Managed care experience
