Associate Director - Workforce Management - Minnetonka, MN preferred (Telecommute within Central or Eastern Time Zone)

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop a partnership with senior clinical executives to support their decision-making needs.   Understand the clinical business to enhance your support.   Build trust with leadership through analysis, deep process knowledge & the use of models & tools
  • Analyze, review, forecast, and trend complex data, review the analysis and interpretation of others, oversee ad-hoc operational reports
  • Partner with finance to enhance budget/forecasting efforts 
  • Present analysis and interpretation for operational and business review and planning
  • Support long-term operational/strategic business activities
  • Develop and implement effective/strategic business solutions through research and analysis of data and business processes
  • Analyze inventory levels, productivity, and workload demand to determine the required amount of staff to ensure service levels are met for all lines of business and departments
  • Familiarize & develop expertise in clinical concepts, practices, processes and procedures within a particular field
  • Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to conduct trend analysis and determine FTE impacts for process changes
  • Ability to analyze a variety of financial data for the purpose of providing direction and support, making recommendations, maximizing funds, and/or ensuring overall operations are in budget
  • Monitor actual staffing results & performance to determine if additional adjustments to the staffing models are required
  • Prepare monthly executive summaries and conduct monthly staffing reviews with all business leads to ensure alignment of business goals are being met

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Business or Financial analysis
  • Advanced experience in MS Excel modeling (ability to develop macros, extensive formulas, build models from scratch)
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs and automated database management systems (Access, PowerPoint, Visio, ignite, Omega, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Workforce Forecasting experience
  • Knowledge of Workforce Management tools
  • Clinical or healthcare background
  • Basic understanding of budgeting and forecasting
  • Minnetonka, MN location
