The Associate Full Stack Mobile Engineer is needed to work on new and existing mobile applications. This role spans a broad range of development activities including analyzing scope and requirements to best coding patterns, developing native and hybrid UI components using Android / iOS / HTML / Javascript, and server side code using Java / Spring. The candidate filling this role will be expected to work with the software architects, engineering leaders and other members of the software engineering team to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of product development in order to deliver high - quality products and solutions for our customers.
 
Mobile Engineers are charged with delivering strong automation solutions which leverage world class testing practices, object oriented programming, continuous delivery and integration, and other software engineering best practices to deliver highly reusable, low maintenance code frameworks.
 
The Associate Full Stack Mobile Developer will be a member of one of several cross-functional development teams, ranging from 2 to 10 team members. This position will assist in various software development functions relating to the development of Native Android and iOS solutions but may also be involved in the development of Responsive Design solutions rendered on mobile devices via a web browser. This role will be responsible for developing global - scale mobile solutions utilizing the latest technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop native applications for Android or iOS and understand the mobile technology stack
  • Design, program, document, debug, test, deploy, support and sustain mobile web - service driven apps (Android, iPhone, iPad), interface and libraries
  • Maintain solid sense of modern web and user experience design, graphics, layout, transitions and feedback on mobile platforms
  • Work closely with a team of engineers and creative professionals in a highly collaborative environment on app design, integration with SaaS solutions and interface evolution
  • Collaborate closely with Product and UX teams to design high quality user experiences
  • Solid design, performance, user experience, scalability, clean and documented code
  • Ensure quality through unit and functional test implementation and execution
  • Contribute to architectural design, automated testing, continuous integration and build management
  • Participate in and contribute to all phases of the SDLC, including working with a Test Automation team to develop end - to - end testing of the solutions being developed
  • Create technical deliverable artifacts needed for project implementation
  • Work effectively within a team environment to implement projects in a timely manner
  • Participate in design reviews, code reviews and functional demos

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical discipline from an accredited institution or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • 2+ years of experience with Java, Spring, API development
  • Mobile development experience in iOS or Android ecosystem such as:
    • Android: J2EE / J2ME, Android SDK, SQLite / MySQL, Eclipse
    • iOS: Objective - C, iOS SDK, Code, Swift
  • Mobile software development experience including published / referenceable examples of mobile applications available in the Apple App store or the Android market place
  • Software development skills beyond design, including OO and MVC / MVVM patterns
  • Experience working in Agile Scrum development environment
  • Working knowledge of CA Agile / Rally tools
  • Knowledge of native Android / iOS development frameworks
  • Knowledge of hybrid mobile development ( HTML, Javascript frameworks such as React )
  • Knowledge of writing and executing SQL queries to support feature / code development
  • Knowledge of Cloud based development
