Position Overview:

  • Create and monitor the outcomes of behavioral programs of individuals with special needs under the supervisor of a BCBA
  • Collaborate and communicate with client’s family, caregiver, and other service providers as appropriate
  • Assist with team member training, mentoring and coaching of therapist who provide direct services
  • Conduct observations of clients’ treatment plans to ensure they are achieving the best possible outcomes and updating accordingly
  • Meet with clinical staff to communicate successes and challenges of the therapy
  • Document progress note, reports, and other updates on a routine basis
  • Attend monthly clinical obligations
  • Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and BCBA code of ethics

Education/Certification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field.
  • BCaBA certified.

Position Qualifications:

  •  Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
  • At least two years of experience working with children; advanced knowledge of applied behavioral analysis; excellent performance evaluations (Internal candidates: All key metrics in green across two quarters, External candidates: excellent references)
  • Must have experience managing a clinical caseload, manage and support therapists/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and conduct high quality programming.
  • Must work well with team members, have good organization and time management skills and embody TBH core Values

 

Preferred:

  • BCaBA or actively working toward Master’s Degree and BCBA
  • At least two (2) years of experience working with children; excellent performance evaluations
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds unassisted

A recent physical that verifies you meet the physical requirements of the job and meet immunization requirements.  If during the physical the immunization requirements cannot be proven, copies of the below immunization records must be provided to TBH:

Immunizations

  • TB Testing (completed within the last year)
  • Proof of MMR immunity or vaccination
  • Proof of Varicella immunity or vaccination
  • Proof of Hep B immunity, vaccination or declination of inoculation
  • Pertussis immunity, vaccination or declination of inoculation
