The Devereux Glenholme School is seeking enthusiastic professionals to join our team as Behavior Specialist & Data Analyst. Located in Washington, CT, the Glenholme School is a therapeutic boarding school for students, ages ten to young adults. The program provides a positive atmosphere designed to build competence for students to thrive socially and academically. Our comprehensive learning environment supports the success of students with high functioning autism spectrum disorders including Asperger's, ADHD, OCD, Tourette, depression, anxiety and various learning differences.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Designing, implementing, and teaching staff to implement behavior observation systems, training/support plans, and behavior intervention guidelines.
Assisting program management and staff with daily activity schedule to ensure it meets all student needs.
Collecting, summarizing and presenting data on students.
Participating in clinical treatment team meetings.
Working with families on goals their child is working on and how to implement while at home.
Providing verbal, written and graphic communication for internal and external review.
Consulting residential staff to ensure the provision of effective and efficient service delivery.
Delivering interventions to students.
Writing Behavior Support Plans and training staff on implementing goals.

The accomplished individual will possess:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred in ABA, Psychology, Special Education or related field.
- Two years experience working with youth with emotional, psychiatric or behavioral disorders.
- Experience with Functional Behavior Assessments and writing Behavior Support Plans.
- Training and experience in Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in an ever-changing, fast paced and demanding environment.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
