REM/NJ is looking for a full time Behavioral Analyst for our Central/South NJ areas (N.Burl Co., Mercer Co. and  Ocean Co.)

The MENTOR Network/REM NJ is seeking a Behavioral Analyst to develop behavioral plans and provide behavioral therapy, and other therapeutic services to program participants.  This individual will work with supervisors in the development, implementation, maintenance and generalization of behavioral change.  The Behavioral Analyst will be responsible for consult with staff, insurance providers, lawyers, service providers post-discharge and family on treatment recommendations and progress; and participate in family education and therapy as needed.

The Behavorist Analyst must have completed or are in the process of completing the BCBA coursework, which must come from a qualifying institution and cover the required content outlined in the BACB’s Fourth Edition Task List and Course Content Allocation documents. Only graduate (i.e., master’s or doctoral) courses where the applicant was formally enrolled and earned a passing grade (“C” or better for graded courses) are acceptable. Coursework may come from a Verified Course Sequence (VCS), although other coursework may also be acceptable.  Board certified preferred, BCaBC or a registered behavior technician acceptable. 

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in psychology or related field and one year experience working with special populations in crisis intervention, staff training and development.
  • Conduct research in behavior analysis within an applied setting preferred.
  • Behavior Plan writing experience preferred
  • Board Certification preferred, BCaBC or a registered behavior technician acceptable. 
  • Coursework may come from a Verified Course Sequence (VCS)
