- Oversee initial outpatient admission for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients
- Make patient assessments and determine appropriate levels of care
- Administer benefits, review treatment plans, and coordinate transitions between various areas of care
- Obtain information from providers on outpatient requests for treatment
You’ll find the pace fast and the challenges ongoing. We’ll expect you to achieve and document measurable results. You’ll also need to think and act quickly while working with a diverse member population.
This is an in office, onsite position. Monday – Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm.
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or Marriage or Family Counseling (LPC, LCPC, LCSW); OR Licensed Ph.D.; OR Registered Nurse
Current, unrestricted license to practice in the state of residence
2+ years of experience in behavioral health
Must have the ability to talk on the phone and type at the same time
Computer literacy with MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
Must be able to apply clinical knowledge, exhibit professional documentation/conduct and meet productivity requirements
Inpatient and/or outpatient experience
Dual diagnosis experience with mental health and substance abuse
Previous health plan experience
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience working in an environment that required coordination of benefits and utilization of multiple groups and resources for patients
Prefer managed care background/experience
