Description

The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 performs analysis of business, process and user needs, documentation of requirements, cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.

Responsibilities

The Business Systems Analysis Professional 2 formulates and defines systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devises or modifies procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. Validates benefits achieved from solution implementation. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Some of the responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

-          Being the voice of the tool for all sales channels

o   External channels (Independent, strategic partners, call centers)

o   Internal sales channels (Field and DMS)

-          Creating agent communications

o   Working with IGNITE for planned communications

o   Sending incident and resolution notifications from SET retail email box

-          Collaborate with impacted parties

o   ASU

o   Account Executives

o   MarketPoint Training

o   Production system maintenance group (PSM)

-          Intake requests and prioritizing enhancements

-          Daily operations

o   Working escalated tickets

o   Collaborating with IT team (MEA1 and other teams as needed)

o   Attend daily standup calls to answer any questions that the Dev team may have for the current sprint

o   Story writing

o   Sprint planning

o   Release planning

o   Post production validation (PPV)

-          Attend several IMPACTS calls

o   Identify other projects that may impact MAPA and eHUB

o   Speak to the tools and progress on work being done on sales tools

               

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
  • Stong knowledge of Medicare and the Enrollment process/experience
  • Experience in problem analysis and process
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

  • Problem solving and consultation within complex environments
  • Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
  • Knowledge of Waterfall and Agile Development Methodologies
