Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Explore a lending career with Wells Fargo while building the professional skills and network by joining the Financial Analyst Program (FAP). During the three year program you will participate in a training program that will help you develop credit understanding and financial analysis with an emphasis in Asset Based Lending. You will work with and train under Relationship Managers on your assigned accounts during the first two years, followed by a year with the Field Examination Group.

Day to day tasks include reviewing borrowing base certificates, field exams and collateral appraisals. Additionally you will be asked to assist in the spreading and review of financial statements, covenant compliance, credit write ups, risk rating reviews and various other financial and compliance related assignments as needed.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: financial analysis, credit analysis, statistical analysis, or statement spreading; or a BS/BA degree or higher granted prior to hire date
