Function:Direct Support Professional (Care Givers)


Part time Direct Support Professional (Caregiver, Direct Care) roles in the Portland Metro area.  Great opportunity to be in a "floater" role, helping support needs across a few different programs.  

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Weekend Float Direct Support Professional/ Caregiver. Our Float DSPs work shifts at various programs (residential, in-home and supported living services) across the Portland area while filling in for staff that may be out on vacation or on leave. Float DSPs also fill in while programs fill vacant positions. Individuals in this position need to have flexibility. This is a weekend position.

These are just a few examples of what our incredible Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) have to say about their job. We seek Caregivers to provide assistance to adults with disabilities in a community-based setting.

DSPs participate in tasks to assist our clients with daily activities which may include:

  • Meal preparation and planning
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Facilitation of community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings in the community providing transportation to work, appointments or other activities.
  • Partnering with clinical staff to support therapeutic and behavioral plans.

We are looking for a part-time weekend Float DSP to work a minimum of 20 hours per week (10 hour shifts).

What we ask of you:
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Must be minimum of 18 years of age

  • Valid driver’s license in good standin

  • 6 months previous experience as a DSP or Caregiver preferred

  • Successful clearance of background checks
