We are seeking CNAs in the following specialties:
HOME CARE (Part-Time)
The CNA assists with implementing individualized care plans that promote maximum independence and comfort for each resident. Duties include, but not limited to, assisting residents with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, grooming, and ensuring a neat and clean environment. Must have a valid Commonwealth of Virginia Nurse's Aide Certification and be able to regularly and safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Valid Commonwealth of Virginia Driver's License (Non-CDL) and good driving record (in accordance with Williamsburg Landing policy) is preferred as this position may be required to drive residents.
NURSING LONG-TERM/SKILLED CARE (Part-Time Plus* and Part-Time)
*24-35 hours/week, benefits eligible for days, evenings and nights with alternating weekend shifts The CNA or recent Nurse Aide graduate must exhibit attention to detail, excellent follow through, and the ability to relate positively with residents, guests and staff. All Nursing candidates must have a current Commonwealth of Virginia Nurse Aide certification or be able to obtain certification within 120 days of employment.
ASSISTED LIVING/MEMORY SUPPORT Part-Time Plus* (24-35 hours/week) for *24-35 hours/week, benefits eligible for days and evenings with alternating weekend shifts
The CNA assists with implementing individualized care plans that promote maximum independence and comfort for residents. Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, laundry, and maintaining an orderly and clean environment. A valid Commonwealth of Virginia Nurse's Aide Certification is required; additional certification as a Medication Aide a plus. Must be able to regularly and safely lift a minimum of 35 pounds. Must obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
