You'll have the opportunity to do live outreach, educating members about program benefits and services while also helping to manage member cases. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manage administrative intake of members
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and / or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Handle resolution / inquiries from members and / or providers

Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • 2+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment
  • 2+ years of experience using communications and interpersonal skills (internal/external customers)
  • 2+ years of experience using organizational skills
  • Microsoft Office experience including Word (create & edit documents), Excel (sort & filter data), Outlook (calendar & email), and PowerPoint (create presentations)
  • Ability to work 7 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s Degree (or higher)
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish
  • Experience with Medicaid / Medicare market
  • Event planning or marketing experience within a matrix organization
  • Ability to travel / travel overnight
Soft Skills:
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity
