The Neurodiagnostic Technologist Technician II is responsible for performing electroneurodiagnostic testing using recommended guidelines established by ASET (American Society of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist Inc.) and or AAET (American Association of Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists).

Responsibilities   

  • The CNP Tech II is responsible for performing competently two or more modalities of Electroneurodiagnostic Testing, including but not limited to EEG, Evoked Potentials, NCV, and EEG Pruning, They are additionally responsible for: patient preparation, education, maintaining END labs, troubleshooting, and cleaning of equipment.
  • Ensures an environment of patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism

Requirements/Qualifications

  • High School Graduate.
  • Competent in performing two or more testing modalities with the CND department
