Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System is seeking a Decentralized Clinical Pharmacist<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />
BCPS (eligible) and/or PGY1 pharmacy residency preferred
3 years of inpatient/de-centralized hospital experience and BCPS may replace PGY1 residency
Eligibility for licensure as a pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy
The Decentralized clinical pharmacist position at Spartanburg Medical Center will consist of inpatient responsibilities which include a hybrid of operational departmental responsibilities including shifts in the IV room and as the Pharmacist in Charge, as well as future opportunities to expand clinical services into high risk patient populations on second shift and weekends. Decentralized activities will include direct patient care, multi-disciplinary rounds, order verification, and medication reconciliation. Opportunities exist to take part in precepting pharmacy students (APPE/IPPE) and PGY1 residents.
