The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for participating in marketing communications projects including the coordination of ongoing community outreach activities, distributing marketing materials and creating brand awareness.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates and delivers promotional materials in order to advertise product and to maximize sales
  • Organizes the preparation of presentations using marketing resources such as brochures, slides, photographs and reports
  • Participates in marketing activities to support the growth and expansion of company products and services
  • Maintains corporate image and reputation and protects the company’s brand via suitable communications activities
  • Plans meetings and outreach activities for the organization
  • Coordinates with field sales team in support of outreach activities in their territory and/or specific provider groups
  • Compiles trends in the marketplace to ensure the product’s competitive position
  • Compiles data for each event for the purpose of feedback, expenses, and tracking
  • Develops new prospects to promote the organization’s products and services
  • Communicates openly and honestly as a team player when participating in staff and operational development meetings and training sessions
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing, advertising or a similar field
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends occasionally
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 50 pounds of force
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to use fine motor skills to operate office equipment and/or machinery
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • 1+ years of experience making formal presentations
  • Able to maintain professionalism and a positive service attitude at all times
  • Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing
  • Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving
