The Legal Department is seeking an experienced attorney to join the newly formed Risk Management Consent Order team. The Risk Management Consent Order team sits in the Enterprise Consent Order section of the Enterprise Risk, Regulatory & Audit (ERRA) Division, and provides legal analysis and advice to the Consent Order Program Office (COPO) with respect to significant enterprise risk consent orders. Primary responsibilities will involve advising COPO in connection with the requirements and implementation of recent FRB, OCC and BCFP enterprise consent orders and related MRAs; developing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external constituencies, including senior business leaders, risk and compliance executives, and regulators; ensuring alignment with associated Risk efforts; and coordinating and reconciling perspectives from Legal Department team members supporting impacted lines of business, Risk, Regulatory Relations, Government Relations & Public Policy, and Audit.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney
  • Active State Bar membership

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of research, counsel, and guidance on complex legal questions or inquiries
