Positions in this function are responsible for all activities associated with credentialing or re-credentialing providers. Includes processing provider applications and re-applications including review and loading into the database tracking system ensuring high quality standards are maintained.
- Help process provider applications and re-applications including review and loading into the database tracking system
- Take inbound and make outbound calls to vendors/providers
- Verify documentation
- High School Diploma / GED OR experience with credentialing providers, working in provider relations, medical billing, quality management, or transportation
- Ability to create and save documents utilizing Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
- Managed care or medical insurance experience
