Works as part of the Customer Service group and helps meet the demands of the entire team in providing professional customer service via the telephone or in person.

Responds to a variety of inquiries related to Rocky Mountain Health Plan benefits and services. Uses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, professional demeanor, tact, systems thinking, and a commitment to quality to serve the customer by assisting in the resolution of sensitive health plan issues primarily via the telephone.
Responds to a variety of inbound calls for provider and member lines of business.
- Respond to questions regarding claims, benefits, eligibility, process premium payments - achieving first call resolution.
- Utilize several software applications and document the transaction.
- High School Diploma / GED or higher
1 + years of customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems, OR 1+ year of experience in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties
Basic proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
- Call center experience
- Bilingual English and Spanish
- Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Frequent speaking, listening using a headset, sitting, use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouse, handling other objects, long periods working at a computer
- Service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity
