Data Integrity Analyst - Telecommute

As a Data Integrity Analyst, your data engineering, quality, and process design skills will be put to the test by assessing an existing, complex environment and making recommendations for improving data integrity and system reliability and scalability. The current system is critical to supporting customer feedback (primarily survey) analytics that are used to derive insights to improve customer experience in support of our corporate Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiative.

You will learn to flex and shift with the business, making solid recommendations based on analysis and understanding the downstream implications of proposed changes: for both internal operations and our customers. This is a highly visible role, working across the enterprise to support the experience individuals have with Optum. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess existing system of data flows and data storage, including history of break-fixes

  • Understand business plans for future expansion

  • Make recommendations for improving system reliability, data integrity, and scalability

  • Meet with business partners to gather and analyze business requirements

  • Ensure best in class methodology processes are being used

  • Design technology solutions for reporting and data problems

  • Be a leader across the teams by providing consulting on your area of expertise

  • Review deliverables to ensure suitability

  • Assist in testing data and reports for quality

  • Build and maintain database architectures

  • Establish clean database environment with proper relationship diagrams, data mapping and indexing

  • Establish proper security policies for database protection/access

 


Required Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years Microsoft SQL Server experience

  • 3+ years of experience performing significant data analysis and database architecture

  • 3+ experience with SQL programming (stored procedures, functions, and views)

  • 3+ years of experience with SSIS Development

  • 2+ years SSAS Experience building multi-dimensional and tabular cubes

  • Data modeling experience

  • Experience with database structures and data warehouse design (relational database design, normalization levels, and mart/run optimization

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Excel including creating pivots, filtering, sorting, manipulating data

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Healthcare experience

  • Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization
