NeuroRestorative Maine offers Neurorehabilitation, Neurobehavioral and Supported Living programs for adults with brain injury and other neurological challenges.  Located adjacent to one another in the beautiful community of Sebago, the Sebago Place House, Cottage and Ranch locations enable participants to receive the appropriate level of supervision, services and supports based on their individual rehabilitation goals.

Description Life Skills Trainers provide assistance to program participants to offer support with daily activities like bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding.  LSTs help with teaching skills to promote independent living, administer medications, take vital signs, and work with the families of our participants.   For NeuroRestorative-ME and The MENTOR Network the Life Skills Trainer is one of the most exemplary reflections of the wonderful mission driven work we do here every day. We in fact have many success stories from people at all levels that started out in the Life Skills Trainer role.    Whether you have previous experience in this capacity or this just sounds like the type of career path you would like to pursue…we want to hear from you!   NeuroRestorative-ME is seeking Life Skills Trainers to provide training, assistance and supervision to MENTOR ABI Group participants in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential & community settings.  Assists with medical supervision.   Facilitates working relationships between community employers and MENTOR ABI Group participants.  Cooperate with MENTOR ABI and any state Department of Human Service staff in any inspection or investigation.

Qualifications: Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six months to one year of experience in the human services industry preferred
  • Valid driver’s license from state of residence
