Director of Global Planning and Analysis

Primary Responsibilities:
 

Manage Staffing Level to Meet Business Needs

  • Demonstrate understanding of overall business strategies, business goals, and business processes in the operations
  • Forecast work volumes and resource needs based on historical data/metrics and current trends (e.g., membership composition, retrieval forecasts, upcoming milestones or events, technology releases, seasonality)
  • Collaborate with Operations leadership to proactively identify issues and mitigation to avoid/minimize current and future production results (e.g., capacity constraints, aging inventory, business continuity events, off-line activities, CPH trends)

Ensure Real-Time Schedule Adherence and Skill Priorities

  • Deploy/redeploy resources in real time to meet current business levels/needs (e.g., re-skilling, real-time skill management)
  • Monitor attendance/schedule adherence, and take action as needed (e.g., update schedules, realign resources)
  • Optimize scheduling in real time, as needed (e.g., queuing, breaks, unplanned PTO)

Monitor/Analyze Workforce Metrics/Data

  • Demonstrate understanding of applicable performance metrics and data (e.g., CPH, QA rates, service level agreements, performance guarantees, work defect rates, schedule adherence)
  • Perform historical data analyses of performance data to identify trends/patterns, and make appropriate recommendations (e.g., work volumes, intra-day patterns, root cause analysis)
  • Collaborate with applicable stakeholders to review current performance data and identify coverage opportunities (e.g., Operations, Finance, national operations center, long range planning)

Utilize/Support Workforce Management Technology

  • Utilize applicable technology to monitor applicable performance metrics (e.g., CMS, IEX TotalView, MyMetrics)
  • Provide feedback to applicable partners on needed technology improvements to enhance Workforce Management performance (e.g., IEX Admin, Operations, NOC)
  • Educate others on the proper use of workforce management technology (e.g., new-hire training, refresher training

If not local to Brentwood, TN, this person will need to travel to TN one week out of the month.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree
  • 8+ years of progressive financial and operational planning and analysis experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience summarizing data for Senior Leadership
  • Intermediate experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Intermediate level of experience with Workforce management technologies
  • Strong analytic background, attention to details
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree
