We are looking for individuals that are outgoing, with a high level of energy to work in a
fast-paced creative environment. District Manager responsibilities include driving sales
with superior customer service; recruiting, hiring and training employees; planning,
assigning and directing work; appraising performance; resolving problems; inventory
control and equipment maintenance.

Primarily responsible for managing the overall operations of stores within the assigned
district including supervision of General Managers and the administration of sales
performance and profitability objectives. This exempt position is considered an
executive management position. Decision-making authority is broad due to the scope
of decisions and number of people supervised.

  • Lead a group of 13-16 retail stores to meet or exceed sales and profitability goals
  • Recruit, lead, coach, train and develop staff and management
  • Communicate effectively with corporate partners so that stores achieve
  • profitability objectives
  • Ensure that General Managers are accountable in adhering to all policies and
  • procedures
  • Maintain acceptable shrink levels


Job Qualifications:

  • Multi-unit retail management experience
  • Ability to display the highest level of professionalism and integrity in all situations
  • Strong customer service skills and sales leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain strong leaders
  • Training, coaching and performance management skills
  • Delegation, follow up and time management skills
  • Outgoing and effective verbal communicator
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to analyze and increase sales
  • History of proven success in a complex leadership role
  • Self-motivated and passionate for the position and the company
  • Open to frequent travel up to 75%
  • BA or BS degree
