Formulary Operations Business Analyst - Irvine, CA

As a Formulary Operations Business Analyst, you will support development and maintenance of formulary management programs focused on improving the member experience via management of preferred alternative data. The position will maintain data to advise members and providers of appropriate formulary alternatives.  This is your opportunity to join a pharmacy team focused on innovation and with close collaboration with technology partners. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Data analysis, file management and report validation

  • Produce, publish and distribute scheduled and adhoc reports while meeting deadlines

  • Ability to problem solve and research inaccurate data

  • Create and maintain databases and tools to generate, transform, and validate data

  • Communicate analysis to peers and leaders


Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience with data analysis; identifying anomalies and discrepancies

  • Intermediate or greater Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Health Administration or related field

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Access working with and creating databases

  • RxCLAIM experience

  • PBM and healthcare background

  • Ability to create test cases
