Being a Foster Care Specialist for our Foster Care program has its advantages!

Located in Phoenix, AZ, Our Foster Care Program trains and licenses individuals to become foster parents for children from birth to 18 years of age. We provide both traditional and therapeutic foster care in Tucson (Pima County) and Phoenix (Maricopa County). Our foster care programs include traditional foster care, kinship care and therapeutic foster care.

As a Foster Care Specialist, you will support foster care providers in maintaining and delivering high quality foster care services to clients who have a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral complications.

Monday-Friday 8am-5pm work schedule!

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field

  • One year of work experience in working with children preferred

  • Must be available to attend 1 week of required training (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm).

  • Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check

  • Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)

  • Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)

  • Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results.
