Foster Home Licensing Specialist

Function:Program Services Coordination/Case Management

Ohio MENTOR is seeking a Foster Home Licensing Specialist to coordinate the re-certification process and conduct home study evaluation, make recommendations to management, ensure that documentation is complete and corrections are made.  This individual will maintain and audit files, and coordinate meetings and trainings for certified Mentors.





Minimum Knowledge and Skills:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required to perform the job.



  • Bachelor’s degree in human services and two years of related human services experience preferred.
  • LSW or LPC required 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed above may be substituted for the above education and experience requirements
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Reliable transportation and auto insurance that complies with the minimum state requirements
