Currently seeking a Licensed Social Worker to become the Foster Parent Recruiter for the Eastern Shore!

 

Working in a flexible environment the Foster Parent Recruiter will build and enhances an active network of foster parents through the strategic recruitment and selection of qualified foster parents. Conduct home study evaluations, including psychosocial assessments. The primary focus of job is recruitment, training and development of new foster homes. Measures success of recruitment effectiveness, creating and designing new recruitment activities as needed to continuously attract new foster parents.



Description

Duties include :

+ Develops and coordinates advertising and manages the recruitment process. Conducts information meetings. Reviews application and references. 

+ Represents the company at job fairs, promotional presentations, and other events to recruit mentors. 

+ Conducts orientation, home study evaluations and pre\-service orientation. 

+ Monitors and maintains allocated marketing budget. Maintains appropriate records in compliance with funding source requirements. 

+ Records and maintains the statistics necessary to measure the effectiveness of various recruitment efforts. 

+ Assists the Program Manager and Program Coordinator in client match meetings. 

+ Compiles and submits application packet when all components are received and advises management on whether or not to proceed to the next step of the certification process. 

+ Develops and maintains professional alliances and relationships that will serve to help recruiting efforts. 

+ Develops informative activities and programs about company services. Participates in the development and implementation of  retention programs. 

+ Performs other related duties and activities as required


Qualifications:

**Recruiters must be licensed social workers (LBSW or LGSW) and will receive advanced clinical supervision and supervision hours necessary to obtain advanced licensure.***

  • Bachelors degree required; preferred focus in human services, marketing or business
  • Three years of related experience required
  • Current driver’s license in good standing
  • Ability to establish rapport quickly with people
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise judgment and strong follow through
