In this role, you'll help keep our high volume pharmacy benefits facility running smoothly with emphasis on maintaining inventory and storage of prescription medicines. This position handles a majority of the drug conversions that result from contract log changes (supplier changes, contracts end or begin with new vendors, etc.) Candidate will be responsible to work with Offline Team to help train and support conversions which includes but is not limited to: tracking conversions through Excel, creating timelines for conversions on a weekly basis, ordering product from specific vendor, and enabling product as active and ready for dispensing in QMSI / WMS.
Candidate is responsible for measuring this metric to ensure we are compliant with department expectations of having 10 or less conversions to complete at any given time. All conversions must be completed within a 7 day time period.
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to manage time well
- Interest in Supply Chain / Procurement or Purchasing
- Ability to multitask – this includes but is not limited to: handling back up functions (secondary,) as well as helping cover co-workers on PTO or co-workers needing additional help to complete a task/project on time
- Seeks opportunity to learn (internally and externally)
- Experience with QMSI / WMS / IRIS platforms
- High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
- Experience with Microsoft Word including data entry and documentation creation
- Experience with Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort, filter, and utilize formulas)
- 1+ years of experience within supply chain or purchasing industry
- Ability to learn and retain new information around job functions
- Candidate should be looking for long-term stability with OptumRx
