The Call Center Associate is highly skilled and an experienced customer service representative who is responsible for answering incoming calls from customers while ensuring a high level of customer service and maximizing productivity.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Respond to complex customer calls
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Resolve customer service inquiries which could include:
    • Benefit and eligibility information
    • Billing and payment issues
    • Customer material requests
    • Physician assignments
    • Authorization for treatment
    • Explanation of benefits (EOB)
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards including the ability to:
    • Demonstrate empathy and compassion
    • Navigate a computer while on the phone
    • Retain information
    • Multi-task: including ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
    • Remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
    • Work independently and utilize intuitive reasoning
    • Listen using a headset, speak frequently, sit for extended periods of time, use hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse and/or handling other objects
    • Work productively in a service center environment with moderate noise level due to Representatives talking, computers, printers, and floor activity

Required Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in the following areas:
    • Medical claims, benefits, and/or billing knowledge and experience
    • Actual experience in a  “Call Center” working with a high volume of calls
    • Customer service experience analyzing and solving customer problems
  • Available to work 40 hours per week anytime within the operating hours of the site
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent working experience
  • Bilingual in Spanish, Farsi, Vietnamese, or Korean
