We are seeking a Healthcare Economics Consultant for our Horsham, Pennsylvania location to be responsible for report development for project that monitors contractual compliance for United HealthCare Community and State Health plans for certain clinical metrics such as completing health assessments on time, setting up individualized care plans for our members and providing timely services to our members; interpreting and analyzing claims; leading projects to completion by contributing to analysis of business requirements for new reports to be developed; designing, developing and deploying reports using standard suite of reporting tools; providing assistance to business users for root cause analysis of business problems; creating and updating automated processes within client databases; analyzing reporting tools utilized by the internal customer groups; and provide training to end users on reporting tools and usage of reports.
- Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Applications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years related experience. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. Will accept experience gained before, during or after Master’s program.
- Must include 3 years demonstrated ability with each of the following: 1) solving complex technical problems and developing innovative solutions using scenario analysis and prototyping using Crystal Reports and Microstrategy; 2) claims, provider and clinical membership data for Medicaid business; 3) programming experience in SQL and PL SQL and understanding of clinical programs and systems being measured to effectively provide analysis and reporting to stakeholders as well as leading knowledge sharing efforts with team members; 4) leading projects as a technical expert, reviewing work, and providing recommendations for improvement in coding and reporting techniques; and 5) providing strategic feedback to leadership and helping guide project direction and milestones through relationship building and identifying technical issues and possible solutions.
