As the primary concessionaire in Yellowstone we operate 9 comfortable lodging facilities offering over 2,000 guest rooms spread out over 6 locations.
Guest accommodations include both cabins and hotel-style rooms that range from rustic to modern. The housekeeping department offers many opportunities for growth.

For Room Attendants in Yellowstone National Park, it's all about being part of a team and caring about the comfort of our guests! They are responsible for cleaning guest rooms and making them comfortable and inviting.
Room Inspectors are responsible for making sure that our guest rooms are sparkling clean, comfortable and ready for our guests! The ability to develop and mentor a well-functioning team of Room Attendants from a largely inexperienced staff is a key part of this job. This position is one of greater responsibility and requires knowledge of hotel/motel housekeeping procedures.
A Porter makes sure the public areas and restrooms in our hotels and lodges are clean and comfortable. Their job is to make the first impression...the best impression!
Housekeeping managers are responsibe for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department at his or her own location; including duties such as staff scheduling, quality control, budgeting and more.
Floor & Carpet Crew
These positions work a great deal independently. You will be using heavy equipment to clean carpets, buff floors, and clean tiles. Chemical use and night hours are often required.
The laundry crew makes sure linen is clean and has been processed in a quality manner. The linens from each our hotels and restaurants are sent to our central laundry facility located in Gardiner, MT to be cleaned, sorted, folded and sent back out into the park.
The Laundry Manager directs laundry operations through a team to ensure customer and employee’s satisfaction while utilizing maximum efficiency in manpower, materials, and machines. They will also provide training for all laundry employees in the areas of safety, job performance, and quality control. They will also be expected to assist on the floor as needed.

A Day in the Life
Housekeeping, laundry and custodial services play an integral role in continuing the daily operation of our park. There are more than 2,300 rooms and 5,000 beds to clean and prepare! That also means a lot of laundry to process! Each of these departments uses environmentally preferable cleaning supplies, and stocks rooms with Rainforest Alliance certified coffee. Guests can opt-in to “Our Softer Footprint Green Housekeeping Program” to support Yellowstone’s sustainability goals.
All of the linens used in our guest rooms and restaurants are sent to our central laundry facility in Gardiner, MT to be cleaned, sorted, folded and sent back out into the park.
