The Instrument Technician II is responsible for the reprocessing of reusable general hospital and surgical equipment and supplies to include advanced surgical instruments and laparoscopic instruments, Orthopedic specialty and case carts. 

Responsibilities

  • Performs decontamination process procedures.
  • Performs assembly process and procedures.
  • Performs sterilization process and procedures.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6 months as Instrument Technician I and completed Advancement Goals to Instrument Technician II.
  • Effective Communication Skills
