Wholesale Banking provides financial solutions to businesses across the United States and globally. Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) (part of Wells Fargo’s Commercial Capital business) provides inventory financing solutions, service and intelligence through in-depth industry expertise and a commitment to customers. As a leading provider in specialized financing and servicing solutions, CDF delivers when it comes to helping facilitate the manufacturing, distribution and sale of products across a variety of industries from Powersports, Marine and Recreational Vehicles, to Outdoor Lawn & Garden, Agriculture, Technology, and Electronics & Appliances.

As a Field Sales Manager I, this candidate will be developing new relationships with strategic dealers and OEM’s in the Outdoor Power Equipment & Agriculture markets as well as focusing on managing an existing book of customers. This will be an opportunity to own an industry with Commercial Distribution Finance and be the face of the industry to our customers.

Works with the sales and other cross-functional teams to develop and implement plans that drive retention and growth of existing accounts, including supporting identified opportunities for strategic clients. Knowledgeable around key risk/underwriting principles and successfully executes a strategic sales process. Attend trade-shows and OEM dealer meetings. Prepares and delivers standardized customer presentations and participates in training as required. Effective at managing multiple priorities.

Team members support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit’s risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, customer service or a combination of both
Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Knowledge and understanding of credit analysis principles
  • Knowledge and understanding of financial analysis principles
  • Proficient Microsoft office skills
Other Desired Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of inventory financing
  • Salesforce system experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience
  • 7 years’ experience in the outdoor power equipment/agriculture industries is preferred
  • Knowledgeable around key risk/underwriting principles
