Assist in maintaining premises of concession building, Dormitory, or other assigned buildings in clean and orderly condition.Responsibilities
Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areas.
Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor.
Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk.
Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
Dusts furniture and equipment.
Washes walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
Washes windows, door panels, and sills
Transports trash and waste to disposal area.
Replenishes bathroom supplies.
Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
Assist in setting up equipment such as tables, chairs, and stages.
Assist with minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, drainage issues, and basic equipment maintenance.
Oversee a group of individuals in completing assigned tasks.Qualifications

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
