Responsibilities

The Lead Salesforce Data Architect works in all data environments which includes data strategy, data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. The Lead Data Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial in support of the group digital transformation.  They will be working in technologies such as Oracle, Informatica, Heroku, Salesforce and Vlocity. The Lead Salesforce Data Architect Responsible for the definition of the data model, data replication, data migration, data archival strategy and solution for the Group Digital Transformation. This will include supporting the build out of the Product, Quoting, Rating, Sales, Marketing, Enrollment, and Communication domains. This position will work across the domain areas to ensure a consistent approach to data in the cloud and on premise.  This person is responsible for ensuring proper security and governance is defined around data and software development/data models.  Lead Salesforce Data Architect works hand in hand with architects across domains, business leaders, and BTL leadership. The architect will also design and implement a training data model to enable a robust training and post production validation data set.  Lead Salesforce Data Architect will understand, recommend, and update when needed the data model required by Vloicty. Works in all data environments which includes data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation. Responsible for developing blueprints for all data repositories, evaluating hardware and software platforms, and integrating systems. Translates business needs into long-term data architecture solutions. Defines, designs and builds dimensional database schemas. Evaluates reusability of current data for separate analyses. Conducts data sheering to rid the system of old, unused or duplicate data. Reviews object and data models and the metadata repository to structure the data for better management and quicker access.

  • Required Qualifications
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
    • 7+ years IT experience
    • Demonstrated experience with data modeling
    • Demonstrated experience with technologies such as Salesforce, velocity, Oracle, Informatica
    • Excellent Communication Skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of cloud solutions
  • Demonstrated understanding of modern data integration techniques
  • Big Data Integration & Analytics
  • 3+ years experience with Salesforce
  • Master's Degree
