If so, College Nannies + Sitters +Tutors of Wayzata would like to speak with you about the position of Lead Tutor for the 2018-2019 school year.
Self-directed, responsible and organized individual with experience in taking charge of areas of given responsibility; Experience with customer service or interaction with customers in sales or solution role; Proven commitment to and interest in education; experience working with students in grades K-12 or families with children in these ages; teaching or coaching ability; desire to directly contribute to the growth of the Learning Center and College Nannies + Sitters + Tutors. Candidate must be extremely detail-oriented, able to multi-task effectively, highly organized, of a proactive mindset, an excellent communicator, and have a warm and outgoing personality. Computer literacy is a must.
Mon-Thurs 5/6-9pm and Sundays 11am-5pm. Commitment through June 2019 required, with option for either August or September 2018 start date.
Overview of Job:
+ To effectively manage the Wayzata Learning Center including supervision of 10+ tutors, a large client base, and 20+ hours of tutoring per day.
+ To deliver excellent client service to CNT families as they utilize our tutoring services at the Learning Center.
This will be achieved by:
+ Friendly, prompt and knowledgeable communication and representation of College Tutor.
+ Working knowledge and understanding of all learning programs and resources used by College Tutors
+ Maintenance of Integrated Tutor Scheduler and CNT database of all tutor families, communication notes and tutoring schedules.
+ Understanding of students' needs and parents' concerns and relaying that information to the Learning Center Manager.
+ Manage day to day juggling of students and tutors as needed because of reschedules, tutor illness, etc. Minimizing any impact to the client is paramount.
+ Facilitate new family meetings, new student introductions and student paperwork.
+ Tutoring as necessary to fill in for assigned tutors or to fulfill a need within your special expertise.
+ Managing the tutor schedule with the best interests of student and tutor in mind.
+ Special projects as needed including proctoring and scoring practice tests, reviewing and mailing progress reports, and other general support and operations tasks.
+ Assist Learning Center Manager in the monitoring and creation of students files & Learning Plans; provide knowledgeable communication to Learning Center Manager, tutors, parents, and students regarding progress; be a resource for the tutors on suggestions for approach, and to work through concerns, changes, or issues.
+ Assist Learning Center Manager with customer care calls as directed.
$13.50/hr with $300-500 bonus for completion of 2018-2019 school year (amount based on performance) + $16-19/hour for tutoring in a topic within your area of expertise.
