This position maintains and repairs the equipment, operating systems, structure, and grounds of the residence.  The Maintenance Director is also responsible for coordinating with outside vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance.  He/she will supervise the maintenance and housekeeping departments.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who possesses at least 2 years’ experience in a similar setting, as well as expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and maintenance. This candidate will ensure the residence, grounds, and parking area are well maintained, that equipment operates properly and that the residence provides a safe and attractive living and working environment.

Other requirements for the Maintenance Director include:

  • Two years prior experience in a related trade or position
  • Prior experience supervising maintenance and housekeeping personnel
  • The ability to establish priorities and develop work orders; experience with TELS preferred
  • Able to complete bid proposals for projects requiring outside contractors or vendors
  • Demonstrated proficiency in conducting preventative maintenance activities based on the specific residence schedule
  • A professional, positive and helpful demeanor at all times

Education / Certification / License Requirements

High school diploma or GED required, Vocational/Technical School or other certification preferred
