The Manager, Health Underwriting establishes criteria for acceptance of applicants based on prior medical history, current health status, prognosis, and anticipated future medical costs. Decisions are typically related to resources, approach, and tactical operations for projects and initiatives involving own departmental area. Requires cross departmental collaboration, and conducts briefings and area meetings; maintains frequent contact with other managers across the department.
Typically requires Bachelor's Degree or equivalent and 6+ years of technical and 2+ years of management experience
